The Garden show was the first Springsteen concert I’d seen, and in\u00a0hindsight probably about the best show I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot of\u00a0shows since then). The show itself (standard intense\u00a0Darkness tour set<\/a>) was\u00a0amazing, plus I managed to get a\u00a015th row orchestra seat from a scalper for $30. Add great show plus\u00a0great seat, and it adds up to an incredible night. I’d say the next best\u00a0shows I saw were the GOTJ Asbury Park show (11\/24\/96), Nassau Coliseum\u00a0(12\/30\/80), opening night Brendan Byrne arena (River tour), and final the\u00a0night at Giants Stadium (BITUSA tour).<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/center>This is the cover art for the promo 5″ CD of “The Ghost of Tom Joad”.\u00a0It was distributed free at the New York Beacon Theater shows on 12\/12\/95\u00a0and 12\/13\/95 to anyone donating a winter coat. The Jewel box has a\u00a0sticker on it labeled “102.7 FM WNEW” with a graphic of the Statue of\u00a0Liberty with her hand raised holding an electric guitar.<\/p>\n
